Counselling Service, Ruislip and Middlesex County

Hello, my name is Amanda Bouvier. I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor experienced in working with adults of all ages, teenagers, and primary-school age children.

I am situated on a small, quiet road, and my therapy room is spacious and private.  Situated on the ground floor, there is easy access to a WC, and water is available to clients at all times.

I offer on-drive parking for clients coming by car, and am within walking distance of Ruislip, Ruislip Manor and Ruislip Gardens tube stations.  The E7 bus also stops at the end of my road, and for clients living outside of the area, Ruislip is easily accessible from the A40, M40 and M25.

My Counselling Service

My aim is to empower my clients, by helping to equip them with the emotional tools to cope better in life, and build self-esteem.

I have experience of dealing with a huge range of issues, including bereavement, depression, perfectionism, black-and-white thinking, anxiety, miscarriage, autism spectrum disorders (including Asperger Syndrome), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), unresolved childhood difficulties, relationship problems, eating disorders, work-related stress, separation, low self-esteem, gambling and stealing.

I am a full member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, and all of my clinical work is governed by the BACP’s Ethical Framework.

I trained to become a counsellor with The Therapeutic Alliance Counselling Training (Harrow, Middlesex), which is run by two highly experienced senior practitioners.

The duration of my training was just over four years, and gave me a very thorough grounding in integrative counselling.
